As many of you may know, there are still many animals suffering from the lack of human
support since the devastation of hurricane Katrina in 2005.
One of our volunteers has been in NOLA volunteering at the Animal Rescue New
Orleans (ARNO) shelter for the past nine days. She reports that there are very caring humans running and
volunteering at the shelter, but that they need our support.
We urge you to check their website if you are searching for a dog, and/or to donate
to the shelter to help with medical bills.
Volunteering your time to walk dogs and clean kennels is also needed. Volunteers are
able to stay in NOLA for reduced rates at many locations. Please check out the website below for more information.
We offer our services to adopters of NOLA animals in terms of training and questions
that may arise after the adoption has taken place. Thank you in advance for your support.
